Of the North Gig at Tonic Tavern

January 2nd, 2013

This last New Year’s Eve Eve Of the North played a gig at Tonic Tavern with Pay the Devil. The show was absolutely amazing with a great turnout, a receptive audience, and a really fun opening act. This was my first show with the full band and it couldn’t have gone any better.  Read the rest of this entry »

Of the North at Tonic Tavern – Dec 30th

December 6th, 2012

Of the North will be playing at Tonic Tavern on Dec 30th at about 8 pm. This’ll be my first gig with the full band (bass, additional vocals, and trumpet) so that’s exciting! I also have revised most of my cello parts and will be showing off a bit more. The show is free and Pay the Devil, a Milwaukee bluegrass band will be opening for us. I’m sure there’ll be a video or two posted once the show is done, but please come out and watch the whole show.

Of the North

September 2nd, 2012

I joined Of the North, a Milwaukee based folk band on cello! The band has played a handful of shows at the Milwaukee Public Market, Art Bar, and a few other venues. They have a 3-song EP currently recorded and are looking to record a full CD this Fall. I hope to use the versatility of the cello to add to their overall sound, and am greatly looking forward to performing again.
